Produced between 1994 and 1995, DNG ROOM (which stands for Digital News Gathering) is an interactive CD-ROM for Macintosh computers about a modern, computer-based tv video editing room.

The user is free to explore inside the editing room, moving around in virtual reality-style and getting to know the equipment in detail. As well as techincal information about every single machinery, the cd-rom offers several sections on the history and developments of audio and video recording. An interactive glossary for technical terms, and a collection of sample QuickTime video rounds up the product.

DNG ROOM was self-produced in Italian and English for the Macintosh platform, and at present is not available as a commercial product, but anyone who is interested in viewing is welcome to contact us to discuss the possibilities.

DNG ROOM was among the 10 finalists on the IV European Computer Graphic Festival in Milan on Nov 8-9, 1996.
